As part of the Uni Myths Busted campaign, we have developed a series of five lesson plans, with a slide deck, information sheets and visual aids to support your discussions with students.
You can follow along with the campaign, and deliver one lesson a week starting from 4 November, or you can mix and match the resources and use them whenever you choose. Our aim is to help you tackle some of the anxieties your students may be feeling about their university choices head on.

Week 1: introduction to the campaign
This introductory briefing sets out all the key information you need to make the most of the Uni Myths Busted campaign.
This lesson plan will explore some of the key information around university choices, and introduce students to the idea that some of their anxieties may be founded in misperceptions.
Week 2: Myth 1, “University isn’t for ‘people like me'”
This lesson plan will help you explore perceptions about who university might be ‘for’ and help students overcome anxieties about not fitting in.
